Clever And Smart

Tricky Raven Birds, 2

I am still not sure if these are crows or ravens, black and dark silver grey.

I met one yesterday when I went shopping.

I thought it could have beeen one of the two I had given some meat a couple of weeks before.

The bird landed near the bus station hut and leaped around in front of me.

He came quite near, nearer than they normally do.

He held one wing as it was hurt or broken.

He demonstrated movements like effortlessly trying to takeoff.

This provoced my sympathy and I started to talk to the bird.

For a few moments I was convinced he was hurt and if had had something to feed him I’d fed it to him even if it had been my Wiener Schnitzel.

In fact I had nothing and tried to approach.

For the case he was really hurt, I decided to catch him and take him to the vet.

As if he had guessed my intention, he took off nearly vertically and flew on to a tree on the other side.

For the case it was the bird who had once begged me two meatballs off I left him two pieces of Schrammel bread at the same old place later.

I am wondering wheter this bird had once been risen by humans or if he was really that clever to fool animals friends around in such an incredible smart way.

And I’ll try to get him on cam by the way.
